Hmmm...let's look at the final quotes.

MSFT down 2.8% at close.
NOVL down 4.2% at close.

In my experience, MSFT is not a bad stock to be in on a "crash" day, assuming you invest mostly in techs, as many here do. Take notice of which stocks are snapped up first when all prices take a fall. That's why there's not much verbal hand-wringing today.
