"zip is there biggest selling add on and the units that have them built in sell "faster than they can make them" and they have no plans to drop zip..."

S,

hmmm, if this were so, why not include built in zips in some of their advertised systems? "faster than they can make them"... come on.... do you really believe this?

Bob

I think you need to read their statement a little bit closer.

They said Zip is their best selling "add-on". This means
Zip is like a printer - a peripheral device so to speak. An after thought.
If they stated Zip was a "standard" then it would be worth
noting and getting all excited about. The fact that it is
not a standard only reinforces the fact that Zip will not likely
replace the floppy.
