Prices as per BSkyB or ONdigital packages Amstrad DRX1000 (satellite) Grundig's Sky Digibox (satellite) Nokia Mediamaster 9800S (satellite). Nokia Mediamaster 9850T (terrestrial) goes on sale in November. (cube)

Pace BSkyB 2200 (satellite) will be in the shops in October. Pace DTR730 (terrestrial) goes on sale in November.

Panasonic's TU-DSB20 (satellite) will be in the shops by November.

Philips is launching two digital terrestrial set-top boxes to tie in with Ondigital's launch. A satellite box

will be on sale before Christmas. Sony's digital terrestrial set-top box (around £250) goes on sale in November.

Toshiba's DTB2000 (terrestrial) set-top box goes on sale in November. INTEGRATED TVS Pace/LG Electronics's widescreen integrated digital satellite TV will be in the shops before Christmas at around £1,000. The digital terrestrial version will be launched in early 1999.

Philips's 28in widescreen digital terrestrial set, 28DW6734, around £999, and a 32in widescreen digital terrestrial set, 32DW6834, around £1,400, both go on sale soon after ONdigital's launch.

Sony XV28DS60 28in and KV32DS60 32in TV sets (for digital terrestrial broadcasts) go on sale shortly after the ONdigital launch. They are likely to cost around £1,500.

Other manufacturers like Toshiba, Sharp and Panasonic say they will launch integrated TVs next year. DIGITAL HI-FI RADIO Arcams A10 DRT stand-alone hi-fi component, £799.90, which can be added to any existing hi-fi system, is launched this week.

Cymbol's C-DAB 1 tuner will be available later this year while Meridian is aiming to launch an upgrade to its existing PM 504 tuner early next year.
