I think Orcl will drop below 18 in 2 mos. JMO. I also think general mkt conditions will worsen however. But why bother shorting Orcl when you could short Sap (in the same sector as Orcl) for a much higher return. Sap still has a lofty valuation.

I am still baffled by this. ORCL is in no worse shape than anyone else....actually, it's in GREAT shape, comparatively speaking. They have continually beaten estimates AND have lots of cash. They have an apps sector that is reviving, and a new product that is doing well, by most accounts.
Pricing is always a question, and that goddamn "quote" appears in EVERY 10-Q I have EVER read. Virtually every firm faces the same problem.
Seems to me that this is still the market taking its toll. I'll buy more at 18...if it goes that low.
Still and all, based on earnings ORCL should be well above 40.
