And you sir, fail to grasp that the Jones case cleared every necessary hurdle up to the point of Clinton's obstruction and perjury and was therefore denied her day in court. So tell me, is the "politically motivated" charge going to be the blanket defense for every politician, judge and every other public official who chooses to commit perjury in a legal proceeding in the future? As Church Lady used to say, "My, how conveeeenient." bp

The above statement is no legal defense for purjury, contempt of court, witness tampering, and obstruction of an investigation. It's merely a political defense. Clinton and his lawyer, Hillary, failed to properly weigh the potential costs of admission versus obstruction. Of course, if they were honest, law-abiding people to begin with, they wouldn't be evaluating the trade-offs between the low road and the high road.
