So tell me, is the "politically motivated" charge going to be the blanket defense for every politician, judge and every other public official who chooses to commit perjury in a legal proceeding in the future? As Church Lady used to say, "My, how conveeeenient." bp

It's merely a political defense. Clinton and his lawyer, Hillary, failed to properly weigh the potential costs of admission versus obstruction. Of course, if they were honest, law-abiding people to begin with, they wouldn't be evaluating the trade-offs between the low road and the high road.
