Tech,
RE:"No offense, but I humbly ask that if you've have info, tell us straight up.
I don't see the point in telling people that you have the inside scoop, but
you won't reveal what the inside scoop really is."

Obviously you haven't been reading my posts over the last few months.
Since the first week of June, when this BB was DEAD, I've been suggesting AMD was turning it around and backed it with correct predictions and information.
It started with information that AMD had fixed it's yield problems and the wafers that had been started at that time had worked their way through production and were showing up as finished product...
I predicted that the K6-2-350 would be released the last week of August a month prior. It was...I told the thread that AMD had greatly ramped up in June and was no longer capacity restrained. They aren't.
Several of us here told you when yiels increased.
Stockmans suggestion that they can only make 3.5m K6s a quarter is simply A JOKE...they have nearly twice that capacity if need be.
A month ago I suggested that we would see an intro date on the 400 in the first 2 weeks of November. We may even see it before that....since AMD has since announced a 380 and 400 and a price cut on Oct 26. Still no annoucement of the release of 380 and 400Mhz...but just watch.
The problem is that it's hard for a new reader to filter out the FUD of the Intelabee crowd...
I haven't made my prediction for 3rd quarter results yet. There are a lot of others around where I will come in. The wildcard is NOT the K6 but where the rest of AMDs business comes in. If they don't eek out a profit it will likely be because of that not the K6. I'm going to figure in some weak numbers for the other business and come in conservative I think...
Jim

Jim likes to pretend that he is "in the know" because he hangs out on the Pwivate AMD Thwead where Brian Hutcheson, mad Albert and DBrbsebes and their Inside SOurces post the Double Secret AMD GOOD INFORMATION that they are given by AMD insiders.

They have been doing this for a year and are still fooling themselves that they have a stoolie - besides Maxwell - inside AMD.
