David,

P.S. I heard a few comments on Berkshire Hathaway from BB. He pointed out that it had declined much more in the current downdraft than the market and rather left me with the impression that he regards it as an underperformer? Is that a justifiable conclusion(I did not here all his comments)? It has seemed to be that BB has been reluctant to acknowledge BK's outstanding performance over the years(far better than any index or diversfied portfolio, a concept which WB eschews).
Comments anyone?

I have yet to listen to the show.

Re: BRK decline being more than the market. I am very happy with this portion of my portfolio because it is up 28% this year regardless of the decline.

There are a great deal of people who bought BRKB in the upper 2000s and are now crying about it. I knew all hell may break loose when I received a cold call from a broker recommending I buy BRKB in the 2600s. HA! What a complete joke!

I had so much fun with that phone call. I told her I already owned BRK and that I felt BRKB overvalued by approximately $800 per share at the time before recent developments at BRK. I mean here is a broker recommending the greatest value investor of all time and she wouldn't know if value came up and bit her in the @#$.

I did try to sell her Mary Kay in return since I thought that someone deserved to benefit from the arduous conversation. I sold her some Wall Street Red lipstick. I felt this is symbolic of what the hell most brokers do to people's portfolios, bleed them of investment capital. HA!!!!!

I am also quite comfortable owning this company since I think I understand it. I don't know of anyone who has made money betting against Warren. Not that it couldn't happen in the future. IMHO, the facts are the future has never been brighter for BRK.

Then again, I am biased because I love See's Candy and Cherry Coke. HA!
