Well bp, because as we have discussed here previously there are no (desirable) houses for sale in the area where I live. Period. No good houses. There have been 2 houses for sale on my street in 5 years, and those 2 were in need of major repair.

Essentially, to understand the Michelle school of economics, you have to view the property-tax mess in California as a "right-wing-elderly-rich-and-powerfull" vs. "struggling-hardworking-overtaxed-gen'X" class war.

But she likes cartoons and Ally McBeal, so she can't be all bad.
