OT -- Thanks so much for the info. I've also saved the answers to your questions, in case I get around to reading that CBOE booklet and trying to qualify for options trading one of these days. BTW, did you have much trouble convincing E*Trade to let you trade options? Had you traded options at another broker previously? A friend of mine said it took some convincing. Seems kind of strange to me, given that they let any old Tom, Dick, or Harry sell short or buy on margin, which seems way riskier then some option strategies.
