To me, what I am seeing you say here is, that there are too many people in Ca and the new people/companies shouldnt come here. In other words whoever is here already gets to stay, otherwise leave. Well thats not my solution to the problem. My solution is, let the free mkt float the price of living here and those that cant afford it get to leave. The difference between these two scenarios are the people that will end up leaving. With your idea, the young leave. With mine the old leave. But they are more or less the same concept. Also in terms of wealth (not the irrelevant "income" value that keeps getting bantered about here) the older are the better off of these two groups. So my position is no more mean spirited than yours ... this in anticipation of your response.
