I'm actually curious about how Born Again Christian's would answer this question. From my talks with them, they are led by the Bible and the Bible often is what they feel was revealed to them when reading it. If a person with this belief were to take the oath of office to uphold the Constitition; would they be able to put the Constitution before the Bible. The question address a curiousity I have about how a so-called Christian President would function if that person found that their Bibilical beliefs countered the Constitution. Would this person be able to take the oath of office and be certain that they could in good conscience uphold the oath?

As for bashing Christian's; I don't bash Christian's; I only bash a minority subset of Evangelical Christians and their Fundamentalist breathren who don't have the decency of calling themselves by their real name; not Christian's, but their denomination of Christianity. I just resent their effort to hijack the name for themselves excluding real Christian's like myself.
