<<<<Because of you, I learned how to short ... and started shorting banks and brokerage firms in August>>

<You're lying.>

WRONG. Here's what I've been in and out of (and still have position in some). All major participants in bail-out. Started with 19 institutions- Now up to 35:

*CMB
*JPM
*BT
MER
LEH
MWD
TRV
*(They're involved with 90% of derivative market)

Also (though not publicly involved with LTCM bail-out):

CCI - (Merger with TRV with a lot of LTCM exposure)
BAC - Biggest exposure of any bank in Brazil

Also (though not a bank):

TIF (Tiffany's): Sales down in ALL major stores: LA, SF, NY ... and Japan. They've already been warning about this and upcoming quarters. Christmas looks bleak. I don't see increase in sales on BIG-TICKET items anytime soon.

Still think I'm lying? - LOL
