Mark, Old Cecil Rhodes is dead, and I don't blame Exxon for John D. Rockefeller's murder of coal miners in Colorado. Can't we all just get along.

I think the ads are wacko, but they seem to work. It is like when you are in a club and the flower girl walks over with a $5 rose. Yes, you would be right if you told her it was a rip-off and get out of your face, but you might look a wee bit cheap to your date. That bothers other people. <G>

If you are looking for ethical companies started in the 19th century, there aren't any. Except for, maybe, Quaker Oats. <G> But, I confess that DeBeers was a bit heavier handed than most.
