I don't think Bob is God either, but I do know that if I had followed his advice to the letter for the past few years, I would be a lot richer right now. Here is a good summary of my thoughts on the value, and limitations, of Brinker's advice, from the "Bob Brinker is God" thread <G>:

I also would say that I don't have any problem with, and I hope Bob doesn't have a problem with, civil and thoughtful criticism and disagreement. Here's a good example of a post which I think would fit into that category:

I have never heard BB say he was God. Of course, he has
referred often to the work of the investment gods, but he
has never hinted he was one of them. He always has said
"the market will do what the market will do" and
"I have no crystal ball to gaze into for answers"
so your remarks about him being God seem rather
manufactured. I have never heard anybody say they
think he is God. But I have heard him say he believes
in God, and I assume he worships same. But not himself!
