But but you can't do anything just with the disk and you need a drive to use that ;-) I think IOM will cut the disk prices more when HiFUD eventually ships. IOM will have cool 20+ Mil user base and will be in a better position to take the price cut in disks. Increased volume will offset majority of the price drop. It will be Imation which will be affected horribly with HiFD since the backward compatible gang will be split. It might actually help IOM with no single strong competitor. -senthil
