..no senior officer of any organization would keep his job doing what "The Coward" did.. Actually, that's not quite true, BigD. CEOs of big companies routinely get away with quite flamboyant personal behavior. Some time ago, I posted an article about their goings-on with young, female subordinates. Don't remember much about it, except that Oracle's Larry Ellison is supposedly a particularly egregious example. Why do they get away with it? Well, because it is not easy to get rid of them (they are big stockholders in their own companies; the Board is in awe of them; etc., etc.), just as it will not prove easy to get rid of the President. jbe
