You know what I don't understand about these types of predictions? if there is a general consensus amongst the "gurus" that there will be a short-lived run prior to a fall, then how could this possibly happen if everyone is anticipating it? IMO, these types of predictions are even crazier than trying to time the market.

As for me, I'll just stick to my assertion that stocks are now very undervalued, that the economy isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and that the market will eventually price these stocks higher.

The market may go a lot lower or higher tomorrow. If I still think that my long picks are cheap, I'll continue buying in either case.
