The President of Western Pacific Gold is an Australian, and as I recall the deal was put together by Iscor's Australian representative

I never did understand why Iscor, and then sometime later they turned up again sniffing around my other " Little Gold Company" that we discussed B4. I understand that the guys that visited the property in Colombia at that time came all the way from SAf. You will recall that several major Gold producers are also in the picture on that one.

Things get complicated real quick when you're out hunting elephants in SAm. By the way there's lots of Gold and lots of gold mines in PNG.
Placer cut their milk teeth on gold in Bulolo and are still mining Porgera where some of the grades ran into multi ounces per ton.

You might be interested to look at WPI web site whch shows the Ring of Fire in the S. Pacific, being the volcanic ring where the mineralization seems to be concentrated. I'd send you the url if I knew how to go back and get it without having to retype all this.
Maybe a separate post is the answer.
