Interesting that after issuing a Sell order on CPPKY, Dessauer wrote "I will continue to follow Pokphand for you, but it may be a long time before we see any news". That was highly unusual. Has he ever before continued to follow a stock, or offered to follow it, after he issued a sell order on it? I can't think of any instances. Has he ever mentioned Service Merchandise again? Singer? Monaco Finance? Apple? Why the exception in this case? I think it's his way of saying, "Look, I don't really expect you to sell the thing for sixty cents, but I have a business to run, a reputation to maintain, and a record to bolster. So, if you want to hold on to it, I understand, but I'm getting it off my books right now." My prediction is that he will never mention it again, ever. Why the heck should he? If it goes down from sixty cents, it's just going to be a reminder of how miserable an investment it was, and he wouldn't want to draw attention to that. And if it goes up from sixty cents, (especially if it went up a lot) then his sell order would look awfully foolish. He would have nothing to gain by mentioning it again, no matter what the stock price does from here. No, that remark about "continuing to follow it" was, in my opinion, just an empty token gesture. Something tells me it is going to be a very very very long time "before we see any news."
