Z-Man, If you really think that oil will be $8 in '00 you oughtta buy some out-of-the money LEAP puts on Exxon, Mobil & Shell. You will make megabucks as they go bankrupt along with the rest of the US oil industry. HEC has not put in a pipeline yet in its Bolivar area because it is waiting for environmental permits from the Colombian government. They apparently are confident that they will receive these shortly, since they announced in their latest release that they expected to have the pipeline done in early '99. This waiting, not only for the pipelines but also the drilling approvals, is one of the most frustrating parts of doing business in Colombia.
