Belmont breeders cup day. 5 stakes races.

the track may be off today due to rain so it would be irrelevent at this point to handicap as a wet or muddy track is the great equalizer and officially changes the whole race scenerio. as far as the gold cup, im convinced that even if they were running on mars it would still be skip and gentleman, still not sure what to make of pacificbounty though, has me scratching my head looking at the 15 to 1 morning line. just not the kind of connections that would run a horse to get on tv, me thinks hes ready to fire on all cylanders, still wouldnt think his very best effort puts him with the top two but.......we will see.
the champagne stakes is an interesting 2 year old race. tactical cat and lemon drop kid will be the big chalk. good race for upsets, im boxing up three longer shots. i really like medievil hero at 8 to 1 so ill box him with the groom is red at 5 to 1 and noteasybeingreen at 15 to 1. than ill stomp hero on top of the whole field for an exacta.
im not sure what to make of the frizette, the beldame, or the turf classic invitational yet, actually the only race that seems to possibly offer value appears to be the champagne so thats probably all i will play today. maybe panama city in the turf classic if 10 to 1 or better but will have to wait and see track conditions and scratches and such due to rain. oh well. skip and gman on nbc at 5 oclock, hope you get to see them.
