It seems that they certainly met their expections as to return. Also, I not so sure that mgmt isn't significantly irritated by all this, in light of what I thought I heard Ken state publically that they "committed" for the longer term.

I don't believe it is in the company's interest for this to happen. The name of the game is shareholder value, and it seems to me that, especially with the last two substantive announcements, the company wants to see market recognition through increased share value, which in turn will help to build momentum. Also, it seems that the best "game" to play would be to back off after conversion and allow the share price to appreciate commesuate with the news. With all those converted shares, they would reap a much greater return in the relatively short term.

If the manipulation is the expected course, why wouldn't shareholders completely bail out (of any REG D deal) after it was announced? As I recall, after this financing was announced, the stock price stabalized.

I just don't believe that they are "behaving" as expected...
