CPQ has had a great presence in China for quite a few years now (I saw a lot of COMPAQ ads when I was there 3 yrs ago) and as I remember there was some news 'recently' about CPQ in China .. this should be some hope for the present and future

Al,
If Dell goes to the 40's, look for about $5 for a fair price on CPQ. That would
give a close to 40B in sales company a market cap of about 7.5B. Dell could
then buy them for a song and pretty much lock up the PC and server market.
Since CPQ will have 5B in cash on hand, Dell could be generous by offering
10B for the company, and it would end up costing them only 5B! Just think of
the squeeze Mikey could then put on Intel!! Awesome!!!
