Lee; I enjoyed your post.
Re Stocks will no longer be bought based on performance but size of voting district and number of registered voters.
That and under the table deals, no way to keep the corruption out
of it. Orange County should have tiped people off to that.

Already Stocks are no longer bought based on performance, due to
the way the indexes are weighted and arbitrage trading of index
derivatives, it's all been turned into a racket.
Communism for the powerful at the expense of the little guy,
while the power brokers had every one distracted and looking
at Russia and other systems, they built their own form of
communism and use it to scalp the market.

The S&P500 and several others are all prone to the effects of
a system that is communistic in nature, and ironically it was put together by the far right, the same ones who claim to hate
communism. All you have to do is look at the physics of it,
how could they have been that stupid ?
