Mohan, Hi!!! <<Since you are 'our man on China' I thought you might like this bit of information.>> Thanks so much for the info....the story is old...but, my first major move into China occurred when I read an IBD article over two years ago..regarding Dell and their future plans for CHINA..How they were sending some of the best people over there......Ever since I have waited patiently in anticipation of these incredible announcements that Dell and others have been issuing of late...Mort's statements in the August release (Reuters) has me drooling on a daily basis...When he predicted that "within five years Dell's number 2 market would be China I went berserk.... Sure this market turmoil is crazy....But my visions of Dell's future clouds out this "game" they are playing...China is an incredible opportunity for anyone....everyone knows of the huge numbers here...I am especially excited by Dell's model and the culture of the Chinese people....IMO it is a near perfect marriage... to think that they are predicting a 27% growth rate already....with Dell going direct here there is no telling how many plants they will need...
