Hi, e,

I have a speculation/thought: What if Vinik $ Co. etc., are box-trading in a large scale?

What if they shorted one million shares at $120 and above; on a daily/hourly basis, they just buy/sell....to create volatility accordingly...

They have nothing to lose, everything to gain. During the periods of selling by real sellers, they just step aside or join the shorts and let the price fall .....

Only when the float/sellers ratio begins to carry risk(too large to control), then they will just drop the whole thing....

Jan

p.s. There is one variance between "Amzn/Yhoo" and Aol, it's the float! The majority of the AOL outstanding shares are publicly traded, no longer in the insiders hands.
