but it can also depend on WHO their clients are, and maybe also WHERE they are drilling, and how long they have contracts for. Comparing debt to assets, MRL is a good buy, BWDIK ?? so i own some GLM MRL BDI UTI and NORT. (I bought NORT simply because i had $125.00 laying around collecting little interest in one of my investment accounts - not a lot you can buy 100 shares of with $100 or so bucks....) based on your 3 lists, the only ones that are on all 3 are DO CDIS RON ESV WFT and SDC. logic would say buy from THAT list, but this market is illogical........... it seems people buy 'what's hot', and not what is financially sound........

Paul, I noticed one on all three of your screens is SDC. I may get some tomorrow. Looks really cheap (though that means nothing in this sector). One thing I really like is no GOM exposure. They seem to be in stronger areas, North Sea and Middle East. About split 50-50 between land and offshore rigs. Most of the land rigs are in the Middle East, where, presumably, its majority owner (Kuwait) keeps them busy. I am hoping that SDC is more insulated from falling utilizations and dayrates than others. They do have some deepwater rigs though I am having problems finding out what pct of offshore is deepwater. Appreciate any knowledge you may have about them.

Thanks,
John

Doesn't CDG fit these criteria?
