Ashok Kumar double talk from the article Pravin posted
techweb.com

While raising his estimate of processors shipped in Q3 and raising his EPS estimate, he claims that AMD can't even get HALF this increase in Q4! (Q1 1.55M to Q3 3.8M = 57% unit increase per quarter, but he says going from 3.8M to 4.8M, a 26% increase CAN'T BE DONE. Sheesh, great analyst.

In an earlier prediction, he said that K6-2 shipments would "hit the wall" when the Celeron A was released. I still see more Celeron 300 systems offered than Celeron 300A's. Is Intel having production problems, Ashok?

I am not aware of any Intel product introductions between now and the end of the year, while AMD will have the 380 K6-2, the 400 K6-2 and (probably December), the 400 MHz K6-3, not to mention new laptop chips.

(BTW, his 3.8M Q3 units estimate is 17% above the midrange of what AMD predicted, and its probably LOW.)
