My 10 weeks includes final testing and packaging. These are AMDs numbers. Jives well with Pauls numbers.
There is also what is known as "rocket production". Takes about 3 weeks to finish but these are just limited "test type" quantities.
Knowning this, it's never made sense to me that NSM fully ramp up the MII if they will have to shift fab space to the MXi later.
Just ramp up the MXi from the get go.

The MII and MediaGX's cycle times have been shaved from 8 weeks at the IBM foundry to 5 weeks at the South Portland fab, Halla said.
