$50M Sega settlement is pure guess.

It started as a rumor because someone saw a newspaper article saying Sega paid this amount out to an unstated party. I think it turned out to not be 3Dfx, though. We should see how much money they actually got in their earnings report on Oct 15th. All we can say about its size now is that it has to be at least "several million dollars" (whatever that means) to offset the loss detailed in the earnings warning.

I don't think that the stock price will react to the settlement unless it's really huge or really miniscule.

The settlement hasn't been released and $50MM sounds too high to me. I might expect something more like $5-8MM. I don't think that the settlement value (If we ever know what it is) will have a significant impact on share price since it makes no contribution to future growth or revenue.
