The Cowan stuff yesterday was old news. Cowen may have taken some of its info straight out of the CSCO annual report.

If you look at the annual report (page 20, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the section "Comparison of 1998 and 1997) CSCO mentions exactly what Cowan said yesterday: that the margins will go down a bit because of the switch to less expensive hardware etc etc. They also mention how they plan to mitigate these changes.

The Cowan report told us nothing that CSCO did not know and had not already told its shareholders. Thus the big drop yesterday was a reaction to what was already known, and expect the stock to recover as quickly as it dropped when people realize they've been snookered by Cowan et al. Read the annual report. You'll probably then go out to buy more CSCO.

Tomorrow will be a BIG UP day, Oct the 7th. IMO, nasdaq will be 50+.
mkt and especially networking sector is way way oversold now.
At this point asia seems to be really strong also.
