Japan: Good analysis J.T.... I think they'll bite part of the bullet... I also agree that the domestic economy should take precedence over favorable trade balances... They will be sending every taxpayer a gift certificate worth about $200 that must be spent in about 30 days... This should provide some short term stimulus... It forces them to spend not save the $200... Another thing they are doing is creating Happy Monday... This is similar to our 3 day weekends for holidays... Will all this translate into a happy economy??? Only time and banking reform will tell... Jim
