Uprising 2

The cover story for the November issue of PC Games is titled "The Next Revolution: Urban Assault, Battlezone II, and Uprising 2. Ride the New Strategy/Action Wave!"

As is typical, it is not yet on the PCGames.com site.

It is a 7 page article devoting a good 1/3 or more to Uprising 2.

Interestingly, they have a "Round 1 Scorecard" comparing the primary three Strategy/Action games in terms of units sold and qualities (good/bad). It states Uprising sold 20,245 copies domestically according to PC Data and Battlezone 51,234 (w/out counting the pack-in copies with video cards). Urban Assault did not list sales since it was just recently released. But, the article does comment that "while Cyclone officials wouldn't disclose numbers, they hinted that the game did much better than that internationally."

I'd encourage browsing this article if not reading it given that Uprising appears to be a key title and series for 3DO.
