Aaagggghhh!... next you'll be making those horrible smaaaacking sounds whilst eating our crispy thin Italian wafer cookies.......actually I get pretty good fills from the DDBs. I also have real time quotes though, and use limit orders, so they either fill it at my price or they can go jump. For a broker to really have his MM (who is the one calling the shots) work an order, it usually has to be of sufficient size to make it worthwhile for him. A lot of brokers claim to be working hard for you, but they take advantage of folks that don't have access to quotes. That's why the internet with good quotes is such a leveler to the action, and why brokers and MMs hate it so much. It spoils their game.
