The up volume of the DJI stocks accounted for 22 percent of NYSE up volume yesterday. The table was set. Now, in five minutes we get the treasuries trading. If rates are up nicely, this rally has a bit of staying power. If not, it is bogus.

Sure there's a good reason Europe is higher this morning. I was up all night traveling the European countryside hyping the idea that the markets have bottomed.

Actually, I hear there's wide spread European expectation of a Europe-wide rate cut, but I'm sure you've heard that by now.
