I just got the latest issue of Mark Skousen's Forcasts & Strategies. He's pretty bullish right now; and he's often right.

Here's the summary: the US market has remained fairly strong, compared to global markets. This is because of the Fed's easy money policy, lowering of interest rates, and the fact that the entire world is facing deflation, rather than inflation. So, he's currently recommending 40% of your portfolio in US stocks, 25% global stocks, 5% gold, and 30% cash.

His highest recommended individual stocks are QWST, WHC, and ALTIF.
His recommended gold fund is EMGSX (Midas Fund)
His recommended global fund, as always, is JAWWX (Janus Worldwide)

There's a lot more, but that's the basic picture. I think he posts a lot of the newsletter on his website, at mskousen.com
