lower priced retailers: PBY,FDO,CLE,SKS,TJX,GDYS,CC* news Circuit City Group Reports 11% Gain In September Same-Store Sales RICHMOND, Va. -(Dow Jones)- Circuit City Group said Tuesday that its same-store sales rose 11% last month. Total sales were up 21% to $694 million in September from $575.5 million a year ago. The group (CC) said Circuit City Stores sales rose 24% in September to $806.5 million from $648.4 million a year ago, with sales remained strong across all product categories.
