(Nasdaq:XYLN - news) Tuesday announced that it has signed a multiyear contract with MetroNet Communications Corp. [Nasdaq:METNF - news], Canada's largest Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). MetroNet will use Xylan's OmniSwitch as the broadband access device to enable it to offer the most robust and cost-effective Managed WAN and Transparent LAN Service (TLS) in Canada.
