Someone handed me an interesting article this morning from the Thursday, October 1, 1998 Globe & Mail. In an article entitled, "Newbridge aims aggressive blitz at rivals", there is one sentence in particular that caught me attention. It quotes Duncan Stewart, who manages the Tera Capaital Corp. Navigator Canadian Technology Fund as saying that Lucent Technology will buy Newbridge.

It goes on to say, "Mr. Stewart boldly predicted that Lucent will pick up a significant stake in Newbridge within a few months. "It's a done deal."

Can someone post this article if at all possible. It appears on page c3.
