I did not "cover", but in reality I am covered anyway with the Jan 55 calls I bought to cover myself on the upside. I make money as long as DELL is out of the spread ($66-$49) on 12/31 or when I close out both positions.

I do watch the market throughout the day, but not always--like yesterday, when the stock dipped to 56 1/2. If I had been watching, I might have tried to make a quick trade on my short. Oh well....

The real purpose of the hedge is to let it ride until something drastic happens; not trade everyday.

Regards,

LoD
