Hi all,

I just came here to announce the same thing. I was going to box in a bit and try to unbox higer, but as far the announcement has not given much of a pop. I might go and look back at the Zitel thread, see if any of the shrills still exist.

I haven't been around SI for ages (too busy at work), but just yesterday started going back through a few of the more interesting threads. For anyone thats interested still in Y2K shorts, my portfolio of them is up a bit over 50%. A couple I have covered, ACLY and IAIC, but the others I am still holding. Watching the portfolio it was noticable how the shorts tended to drop one by one. It means it was possible to rotate between them, rather than having the sector collapse at once. At the moment the only one that hasn't collapsed has been IMRS.

Based on the last couple of quarters, the stocks might make a small recovery just before earnings. If this happens I will probably increase my remaining shorts again about that time.

Graeme

PS. Zitel is still dropping as I talk. Might be a case of delayed reaction but looks more like Zitel's last stand might not be long lived.

Barb, getting another chance to short ZITL would be a dream come true. I understand that Jack King is leaving, I hope that he will move to another company that we can trade. I like management with a proven track record. "The contract is on my desk."
