Posting here feels oddly familiar. I hope everyone is doing well, outside the market that is!

I finally saw the SRDC announcement today. I guess that's a bit of a hint as to the industry - most are not watching Altris all that closely. Actually I wouldn't have seen it if KM World hadn't have posted it today on their web site kmworld.com .

Still, it prompted me to read a couple months worth of postings to get a sense for things.

Glad to see there is still some life left in Altris. Clearly it is worth more if sold off in small chunks. Selling some technology and licensing the use of TIE (which I imagine they have done) is not an altogether bad plan to raise some capital. Certainly better than issuing 600M shares! I would imagine that SRDC has negotiated some exclusivity in the PDM market at least.

I guess one could look at other long term relationships that Altris has had. Data General seems to be one likely area for a look see. Are they still actively promoting Altris? Does Bill Zastrow post here at all? I understand he moved on from DG some time back. If DG is still promoting imaging outside of health care, then they might be motivated to buy some security (and add to Altris cash flow).

I saw a post a long ways back from PeakClimber - he/she is correct - imaging is becoming somewhat of a commodity, and some of the benefits of TIE are showing up in other products. Perhaps there's a good lawsuit in that!

Good luck to all.

Anyone notice FILE and DCTM lately? Certainly not the bloodloss of ALTS which is looking rather pale lately. Oh well, I suppose misery loves company. Probably just a great buying opportunity... like ALTS was at 1 1/2 when I averaged down :)
