OFF TOPIC, but not really! and long. I have watched in disgust as this thread has been essentially destroyed by the rantings of a few naysayers who seem to have an unusual agenda. I come to this thread and I find that it has degenerated to commentary and analysis of the math of a puzzle. The puzzle was not hard to understand, nor was the mathematical process. It seems there is an attitude that ONLY I AM QUALIFIED to understand this complex matter, so I WILL HELP YOU POOR IGNORANT THREADSTERS. It was from this perspective that I posted my complaint that it was too much. I will not accuse you or anyone on this thread with any specific action which has destroyed its usefulness. But I will say without hesitation that if ValuSpec (he IS the one my previous message was addressed to) had come on this thread initially with the same attitude that he is generally displaying now (the puzzle analysis is an exception), R Baughman and some others who used to post valuable information here would still be sharing their DD with all of us. He would have also had enough credibility that I would have paid some attention to what information he included in his postings. I readily admit that I shut him out of my scope of information very soon after he appeared here. All his postings about June 30 was just more of the same antagonistic ranting so far as I was concerned. It is my opinion that the mantra about being vindicated by future events will never happen because part oh his message was the METHOD used to deliver it. So I will simply say that if I held on the way down and eventually lose, it will to some degree be because of the attitude which I think I saw in his method. There are many people in this world who realize that helping a fellow traveller is an act which actually helps ones self. I have been privileged to have known many such people and I appreciate them. Maybe I can say the same of you and of ValuSpec some day, but for now I cannot. My agenda is, I am an investor in a company with a very promising future. I made the decision, long before you came along badgering Vic, that I would either profit from this or else loose it all. My interest in material things (money included) is quite a ways down on the list of things which are important to me. I have bought FTEL all the way up and down and have never sold a share. So you are probably intelligent enough to realize that I have not lost anything. But even if I had lost my shirt as you so snidely suggest, WHAT IS IT TO YOU???????? I am retired after having worked twenty nine years at my latest endeavor, and with God's help was able to earn what I have. And by His grace I shall spend it without asking your approval. But, to answer your question, no I am not having fun! The reasons are plainly laid out above. I regret that posters who have helped me have been driven from this board for reasons that are unknown to me. I was raised with a sense of justice that, for all I am able to see, is violated by the events I have seen in connection with this thread. What is your agenda? You seem to have some kind of vendetta concerning Vic. My apologies if I am wrong, but it looks that way to me. Do you own any FTEL??? I am certain that there are others on this FTEL thread who wonder about the same things. Post the answers to me if you wish, but by some means why not put the real skinny out here for all to see?
