Eric, you can rant about the virtues of csco - as much as you want. It is then just a philosophical difference. But, this is sheer ignorance and nonsense - <<There was a lot of "disinformation" going on by what it was later determined to be shorts trying to manipulate the market.>>
For your information, it is much more difficult to manipulate on the short side than on the long side. Short selling was allowed not because of any love for shorts. It is because they will add to the liquidity. Absent short sellers, cisco wouldn't be at these heights. Even if it were, it wouldn't have stopped at 48 yesterday. If one is short in a bubble like this, not only he/she is up against a powerful force called "the herd mania," but also the Governmental and institutional manipulation. Expecting peanut sized brains to catch the concepts of investing is just ridiculous. But some times I attempt to do a few ridiculous things.
