Thanks for the post.I agree on all counts.I have never held myself to being accountable to the perfect level .I do aspire to be lucky and that is what I consider it , when I just catch the market right.
Try to be conservative while still being aggressive.

I have a friend who quite prolifically says: " Be conservative in the good times and aggressive in the bad times ."

These times are bad and I have been aggressively buying the dips (too sooon again) but I think I've been conservative enough to hold my account together even in the doomsday E.W. forecasts.

I am in the car business - very traditional very long hours and very low margins. I have tried to buy stocks in the cyclical tech sector that enjoy great margins but within volatile cycles. They make great money but suffer wild up and down swings.(perfect for a newbie market timer with a long time horizon. :-)

Thanks for your independent thought.I value you and bill greatly just as surely as I value the beara and the harpoon man.

P.S. I reserve the right to switch values on a dime. :-).

Thank you once again for your good advice ( you too LG - nice to get a texans opinion also.)
