"Cost Plus".......love the phrase. (g)

Your cornfield adventure would have frightened me for sure, particularly as corn fields (especially when nearing harvest time) have the ability to stop a plane in very few yards. I remember when I was training, one of my instructors who had enjoyed an "arrival" into a corn patch detailed how those cornstalks carved up his wings and shredded his fuselage, stopping him in a few feet. He commented that one should avoid corn like the plague.

A few adrenalin producers, but only one emergency landing at this end in 4,200 hours (all in small planes for which no government picked up the fuel bill), and on that occasion managed to arrive on a snow-filled runway in one piece and with no damage. It is a well known fact that God loves the Canada Goose the most. (g)

Hope to be flying my homebuilt in the near term. 2 seats, retractable, all metal, ultra quick.

Best, Earlie
