As I have said before, without too much of bearishness we will not get in to a bear market. Yet, Bob thinks that excess bearishness is bullishness. That is plain simple BS, IMO.

Yes, I agree. A trip down memory lane will confirm this. In the wrenching 44% decline of 1973-74, there were many people holding a bearish view even when the market was down "only" 15%.

Bear markets don't happen overnight. It's not as if almost everybody is bullish one day, and then suddenly, most people turn bearish the next day. That is ridiculous. And to say that in between the two events, there will be a Brinker who will turn from bullish to bearish, is even more ridiculous.

mmv, the avg $250 mil market cap and under company is down 53%. naw, we aren't in a bear of any type 'cause bob said so ;-)
