We'll find out in about 10 days. Unfortunately, during that interim period, CPQ could languish enough where any rise in the stock following earnings will only get us back to where we were (around 32 last week). When 3rd Quarter earnings are reported, the 3 areas to concentrate on are: 1. Inventory levels (obviously) 2. Receivables 3. Cash flow from Operations Regarding your broker: Generally, brokers are nothing more than sales people who have a knowledge of market jargon. "Our analyst says".... If your broker had a financial background, accounting/finance,MBA (not in marketing), then he may be more believable.
