My apologies to Henry, who has really only responded to questions, but am I the only one who finds this discussion of usury laws a bit bizarre? How is this relevant to understanding the current financial world and hopefully making some money?

Everything I have said is that you can't enforce a law that is unenforceable. That sure isn't a non sequitir. not(x) implies (not x).
