Maybe you should just print it and take it to the crapper on the next trip. Before I go into my rant let me explain something. I've done my share of "bitching" here as well. When it is down, so am I. I complain because I'm in deep and I've earned the right. The losses are deep and they hurt. There are many here who are in the same boat and we all know who we are. I might be be annoyed at how things are going at times but I won't attempt to instill that attitude in others. I believe that is the difference between You, I, Elk, Ray, Vic, RB, etc, etc and those with a different agenda: VS, JHP, Jean, etc. These individuals come here to post - yet they claim (and I believe them) that they hold no position. They are nothing more than paid "shills". Their job - to paint a picture. Some are great at it and they base much of their attack in fact. Sometimes those pictures are rosey and many times they are varying shades of black and blue. Depends what the boss wants that day! Frank and FTEL have made their fair share of blunders over the years and these guys can find every mistake ever made. They're digging as deep as Ray - only there digging for a different type of gold! ValueSpeck is amazing. JHP (probably the same guy - different on-line personality) is an idiot. They feed off one another and compliment one another to give the illusion of support and a united front. They are very good at what they do. The internet is an amazing place. Anyone can be anything they want. Let your imagination run wild. Remember "Jean O"Value" during the 30 day free trials?? That was "yours truly" clowning around! Maybe I'll sign on as Andy Grove at the Intel thread and tell everyone our earnings won't be in line with estimates. Far fetched? Yeah, but some idiot who thinks THIS is the place for DD will bail out. Of course this is a ridiculous example but you get the point. Much of the reason for this nonsense is the need to do good DD. These guys know that alot of it (DD) is done right here and this is NOT the place for good DD. This thread could be a small part of it but many start AND stop here. Very dangerous move! If I came in here looking to do research I would've bailed on day one. Not too many "friendlys" in here anymore. Most are very defensive probably because they've been attacked so often. I see many questions presented and rarely does anything get answered. Maybe there are PM's going back and forth that I can't see. Maybe not. I agree that an open forum is good and an equal amount of bulls and bears should hopefully produce some intelligent conversation. Some of the bears offer valid reasons for their positions while others just come here and have a field day with the jokes, insults and "I told you so" crap. It gets old after a while! I don't have a problem with any posts that I don't agree with because I can skip over them and that's that. Everyone is entitled to an opinion - good or bad. Sometimes these clowns bring something to my attention that I wasn't able to uncover myself. Sometimes I don't want to hear about it but it may be the truth so they do serve some purpose - good or bad. For that I'm thankful. Sometimes I get carried away with the positive rants and spins and also need to be put in check once in a while. I believe it to be beneficial to take off the rose colored glasses once in a while and see things from a different light. Again, the danger is when you are stupid enough to believe EVERYTHING you read here. Like Vic says: "Do your own DD! He may present himself as the "troll under the bridge" but he speaks reams of truths. He has been around here a long time so we have to give him, and many of the others, alot of credit for putting up with this crap over and over again. Sometimes the bashers opinions are based in fact and have a way of keeping us all in check and not getting carried away with this "love affair". William O'Neil once said "don't fall in love with a company - it won't return the favor. We are all here for one reason - to make money. When I want to have fun, I'll go fishing or ride my bike or hang with my kids or..... This is the last place I'de be. Yet many try to convince us they're here for fun, or it's a hobby, etc. Give me a break! What kind of "hobby" occupies most of your normal workday?? What a loser! Get a life! The intelligent questions and answers are long gone and have been replaced with a few clowns who insist on pissing everyone off and forcing the remaining few to go elsewhere, or worse yet we engage these posters and get kicked off the board for trying to squelch their first amendment rights. What malarky! They aren't here to discuss anything. Most are here to force panic and have everyone second guessing their investments. They are as bad as the blind-sighted bulls that think nothing can ever go wrong. They're only here for the quick kill and it doesn't matter which direction they're pushing the price - as long as they make money. "I shorted it so let's create some fear and panic." "I'm long so let's talk it up like it's the next Microsoft." Many aren't "in it" at all. They're on someone else's payroll and they're only here for one reason - to drive the price!
